Industrial lighting plays a critical role in manufacturing facilities, stadiums, warehouses, and construction sites by improving visibility, safety, and security. Investing in well-made lighting systems and components are important in non-residential settings because they can better withstand outdoor exposure, temperature fluctuation, dust and debris, and long hours of use. Lower quality or inadequate lighting also tends to wear out or require maintenance more frequently, which adds expense and diverts time away from productive work.
Based in the Chicagoland area, Pyramid Fab & Finish specializes in custom industrial lighting solutions for customers that need reliable illumination indoors and out, in a variety of settings. From Blueprint to Fixture: An Industrial Lighting Case Study
For a recent project, we built custom fixtures for LED lamps. They are made from .090 in. aluminum and are powder-coated for durability. Materials were formed and punched using CNC machines that can hold tolerances to ± 0.005 in. Multiple inspections kept dimensions within spec at every stage of production. The finished pieces measured 8 in. by 16.2 in. and included notches, holes, and edges carefully honed with tools from our punch inventory or built as needed.
By drawing on our in-house resources, we offered a cost-effective build without sacrificing precision. This successful case study shows how Pyramid Fab & Finish delivers custom light fixture fabrication that’s tailored to specific industrial applications.
