We work extensively building components for the electronics industry, and when a customer in that field required a NEMA rated Control Box, our capabilities and experience made us a natural fit. Not only did we need to fulfill all of our customer’s exact specifications, but our work needed to be held in full RoHS compliance.
This cabinet control box was to be fabricated from 14 gage steel, and would require a broad array of our machining capabilities. The steel was formed, punched, welded, ground, deburred, powder coated, and assembled to create this product. The finished box measured 12.313″ long and 9″ wide. The completed box was finished with black Peel II Texture paint. Thorough dimensional and visual inspections were completed to ensure the final product met all specifications and NEMA standards.
The final product fully satisfied our client. The entire process, from planning to delivery, was accomplished in just five weeks. We now produce 100 to 2,500 of these boxes per month for our Saint Charles, Illinois client.
